Meet Amanda Parker – PATP Co-host!

Amanda Parker is an Arkansas native, entrepreneur, mother and wife. Born in the late 1900s, Amanda graduated from Mount Saint Mary Academy in the year of our Lord 1998. After a gap decade, she earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from UALR (#foreverUALR #neverUALittleRock) in Anthropology and is a Certified Nonprofit Professional. After accepting that her grandmother was right about never using her degree professionally, Amanda started down the path of “Sure, why not?” that produced a motley crew of opportunities and experiences. Amanda took the knowledge she acquired through her studies and experiences to help restore some faith in humanity and the trades with her first business, Cecil & Parker Painting, LLC. Though successful, she felt there was a higher purpose for her post-COVID and after years of research and planning, she opened The Break Room in Saline County in the summer of 2024 to provide a space for us all to let it all out without judgement. When not working or attempting to raise a future adult, Amanda likes to relive the golden age of wrestling with her husband, Cory Holt; disassociate with loud music, and being of service to various nonprofit organizations.
